# 3.1.0: Bug with TypedInput validation

Hi all,  
Something in version 3.1.0 breaks typedInput validation:

- 3.0.2 - `range` node  

- 3.1.0 - `range` node  

The strangest thing is that it works if you use the typedInput in a container but not directly in the editor (e.g. `inject` node)

Does anyone else have this issue too?

Can confirm I see this to (the red outline is there, just the gif reduces the clarity)
