# A “Welcome home” using Shelly motion sensors

Ever come home late at night and it’s so dark it’s hard to see well enough to put your key in the lock? I could leave a light on, but that’s wasteful and creates a bug swarm. If I open the door I get creepy crawlies inside my house.

Shelly makes some new BLE motion sensors that are dead easy to integrate into Node-Red if you use OpenMQTTGateway:
