Good Morning
I wondered if you were able to point me a the right direction.

I currently have a Kira128 which basically stores 128 infra-red codes of my choosing.
The unit then sits on the network (Lan) and you send a UDP message via node-red to one of the 128 locations which in turn fires the infra-red transmitter with the code stored at that address.
The real world scenario is that I trigger the node-red event via a push button located in the lounge and via the Kira128 and infra red it Turns the TV on, sets the amp to DVD and carries out a few other commands via IR via UDP.

The command is cmdT001 for location 1 through to cmdT128 for 128 sent via UDP.
While this works fine i wanted to try add trigger the flow via Alexa. I had it working using
[https://alexa-node-red.bm.hardill.me.uk/](https://alexa-node-red.bm.hardill.me.uk/) but that does not work since Nov 25.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Best wishes Andrew

Well - Ben's software still works for me so we should be able to get that going again for you.

But could you make a little flow (inject -\> udp send node) just to check that it basically works?

What version of NodeRED are you running?

What version of node-red-contrib-alexa-home-skill are you running as well?

Good morning
Many thanks for your input and I re downloaded the node-red-contrib-alexa-home-skill and everything now seems to be working. I intend to update nodered from 4.1.8 to 5.0.6.

In closing I also live in sunny Euxton

Thank again

Andrew
