# Amazon Echo Spot

Can someone confirm that discovering local devices does not work with the Echo Spot?

I tried [alexa-local](https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-contrib-alexa-local) and [alexa-home-skill](https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-contrib-alexa-home-skill) - the setup works but the Spot does not discover my devices.

I saw that the alexa-local documentation explicitly says that the Spot was not compatible:

_\* Echo Show, Echo Spot, Sonos One do not have the capability to discovery devices locally_

Did someone get the Spot to work with Node-RED ?

Try the wemo emulator.
