The cmd:npm i -g --unsafe-perm node-red give error

Did you try: `npm install -g node-red –unsafe-perm –production`?
Note that the arguments are after the thing to install. `–production` ensures that you are not getting any of the development “cruft”.

What happens if you drop the —unsafe-perm flag. It isn’t really needed in most instances.

Did you try what it suggests? --omit=dev instead of -production?
I don't expect it to make a difference though.
