Hi everyone,

I've just published **node-red-contrib-toyota** , a new set of Node-RED nodes for Toyota Connected Services.

The project started as a personal integration for my Toyota and has now reached the point where I thought it could be useful to other Node-RED users as well.

It currently provides nodes for:

- vehicle discovery
- vehicle information, connected services and reported capabilities
- telemetry and vehicle state
- live trip retrieval
- individual trip retrieval
- SQLite-backed trip synchronization and local querying

Authentication is handled by the integration using the user's own Toyota/MyToyota credentials; no Toyota developer account or external protocol configuration is required.

The package also includes example flows available under **Import → Examples → node-red-contrib-toyota**.

It can be installed directly from the Palette Manager by searching for:

`node-red-contrib-toyota`

**Compatibility:** Node-RED \>= 5.0.2 and Node.js \>= 22.9.0.

Toyota has been tested with a real vehicle/account. Lexus protocol handling is present where applicable, but **Lexus has not been tested yet** and should be considered experimental.

This is an independent, unofficial project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Toyota or Lexus. It uses undocumented/private Connected Services interfaces, so upstream changes may occasionally require updates.

Feedback is very welcome — particularly from users with different Toyota models, countries/accounts, and of course from anyone willing to try it with a Lexus.

Cheers
Fabio
