I'v got some feedback lately  
In short ..  
_If value field is not displayed then just colors of stripes and min max values are not enough to represent current conditions of measurement. User needs to figure it out by knowing the setup. Not good for...._

Version **0.1.20**  
Option to show intermediate tick values with two choices. Tick values presented at segment positions, or spread evenly (auto). Default is off.

Tried to make it slightly smart. If tick value position is too close to min or max, it is not shown. Also number of tick values shown depends on count of size units in direction.
