# Anyone created an LCARS desktop yet?

I came across this site with some templates, which could be adapted for NR 😀

Haha! Actually, oddly I never was really. I watched it but never became that important. But don't get me started about Sci-Fi because I'll bore everyone to tears!

Yes I thought I would use it as a learning exercise for UIB.  
Got a basic screen - with the all important beeps and whistles when a button is touched 🤣

Now to make it do something useful 🤔

Very cool. I hope you will share it when you have something working.

Don't forget that, with HTML, you can make just about anything respond to mouse clicks and touches. And uibuilder has a built-in function to automatically send data back to Node-RED on an event. So no need to struggle with front-end coding unless you want to.
