# Audio out not working,

Context: Sensetecnic FRED 1.8.1 (trial account)  
OS: MacOS Catalina 10.15.5  
Browsers: Chrome (ver 83.0.4103.116), Safari (13.1.1)

A couple of years ago I created a simple flow that injects a string to an audio out node (ui\_audio). I used to be able to hear the TTS output in the browser, but this doesn't work any longer. Related form posts discuss enabling audio in the browser, but I have confirmed that the browsers have Audio _enabled_.

Debug shows the string is passing the payload:

```auto
7/12/2020, 12:48:05 PM[node: debug](https://thatbrock.fred.sensetecnic.com/#)msg.payload : string[22]
"this is just some text"

```

Any ideas on how to debug/resolve this?
