# Authentication failed on github

Hi nodered experts,

I am trying to use the nodered projects features.  
I already setup my github repositories, however everytime I push to create new branch, it always ask me my credentials

I already put my credentials, however it always ask me to input my credentials.

I am trying to create new branch, but everytime I clicked the push button, it pops out the dialog for login credentials:

Are you using your GitHub password? If so, that will not work. You will need to generate a Personal Access Token and use that in place of your password.

The GitHub docs have the details on how to do that.
