Services built with Node-RED should be tested like any other kind of software as well.

Based on my own experiences with Node-RED, I've published a test "pattern" and the underlying flows on [GitHub](https://github.com/rozek/node-red-test-support).

Feel free to use it in whatever way you like. Any feedback is welcome.

If you principally like the idea of automated tests with Node-RED but find the creation and wiring of nodes cumbersome, I've heard you and added a first [template for up to 10 automated tests](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rozek/node-red-test-support/main/template-for-10-tests.json) to the [GitHub repository](https://github.com/rozek/node-red-test-support) - more will follow as time permits.
