# Backup the installed nodes and restore in another device

I need to install node-red on multiple devices with same nodes and flows. Is there any procedure where you could install and configure nodes in one device and then take a backup of node-red and use it to install and run the node-red on all other devices.

Hi @dhanishkarun welcome to the forum.
Please search the forum for `offline install` this has been covered many many times.
You should find many clues on how to do this.

Sure will try that. So far I couldn't find a discussion to for offline installation of node-red with all the nodes. Will read more and update it here.
