# Buttons on inject and debug node not active

This suggests a problem with websockets as I stated in your own thread:

This appears to be related to home assistant and your installation. You could try searching the home assistants own forum?

In fact a quick Google search - first hit - [Nodered corrupted, can not use inject node - Node-RED - Home Assistant Community](https://community.home-assistant.io/t/nodered-corrupted-can-not-use-inject-node/509809)

- Check for & remove any duplicate home assistant config nodes
- Access node-red directly using [`ha-ip-address]:1880`
