# Can't move objects and adding spacer nodes out of nowhere

Aside that, spacer nodes are added all the time (which is painfully to delete since no shortcut to do that quick nor group selection).
I'm using chrome and node-RED v1.0.6. Can't really change the NR version, it might cause a lot of troubles in a current functioning application in shop floor 😕

What device are you running NR on? If you can't change the existing NR version, I would get a new device and copy the flow over to it and get it working. Then you could swap devices to keep downtime to a minimum.
You do have a backup device already...right???
