# Cant reinstall NR

My Node-red broke. Dont know the reason.  
I get the error in picture to the left.  
I try reinstal but Npm missing.  
Please help me

hello Funhall .. there seems to be a problem with your npm  
You can try :

1. backup your flows
2. `sudo apt-get remove nodejs`
3. `sudo apt-get remove npm`
4. run the NodeRed script again :

`bash <(curl -sL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/node-red/linux-installers/master/deb/update-nodejs-and-nodered)`

By the way .. Is this resolved ? (because i see you opened some other topics on the forum)  
did you manage to fix the problem ?

if yes, its good to give some feedback in order to help others that may read this in the future.

Yes I made a new SD cart installation. That did it....
