# Cctv recording and playback (work in progress)

Hi @kevinGodell,

Finally I had enough technical background about this, via our mp4frag [cheat sheet](https://discourse.nodered.org/t/input-required-for-an-mp4frag-cheat-sheet/74768/11). Which allowed me to have recording running in a real short amount of time. You are my hero for today 🤩

Of course I only have a basic recording setup, which need to become more advanced in the near future. But at least I now have a starting point.
