# Change dashboard password from the dashboard

Hi everyone, has anyone already developed a way to change the dashboard password from the dashboard itself?  
I know a similar post has already been proposed [here](https://discourse.nodered.org/t/allow-the-user-to-change-his-her-password-for-dashboard-ui/22214) but without a real final resolution.  
My application is single user so I can safely restart node red to validate the change
