Thanks in advance , i would like to think i have moved from crawling to walking with node red however, i am stumped at were to start with a very simple task.
I have a temerature and a number going into a sum, that parts fine but the temperature continues trigger the sum on state change i want to disable it based on a state condition of a window sensor. I could do this with an additional entity configured as a switch but that seems overkill. But when i try a state node i dont know how to pass the temperature through when the state of the window sensor is true.

Does this cookbook entry help ? [Route or block a message based on a context value : Node-RED](https://cookbook.nodered.org/basic/route-on-context)
