# Connect Azure IoT Hub to node red

Hi! I'm having a problem with connecting my hub to node red.  
I was watching this tutorial and I have the same "Azure IoT Hub" node from "cloud", the difference is that when he edit the node in properties it says "connection string" and for me it says "Hostname", is there a way I can change that? 😊

The top screenshot is set to use `http` the bottom one is set to use `mqtt`

I am going to use mqtt, but even if I change it to http it wont change to connection string... 🤔
