# Connecting to philips hue hub

first of all id like to say HI and im totaly new to all this node red

im trying to connect my hue hub to node red and it nothing happens  
i put in the ip of the hue bridge and press the button like requested nothing seems to happen.  
ive restarted my router and bridge but nope......Am i missing a trick here??  
any help would be great

You should see the API key be populated in the Hub configuration on the node settings. You then need to create a flow for node-red to actually do something with the Hue.
