# Control Musicbee with Node-red

I had asked a [question](https://discourse.nodered.org/t/control-an-audio-player-on-a-separate-pc/85922) about how to drive the Musicbee audio player with Node-red.

I tried using the Musicbee remote plugin but couldn't get it to work, even though it works perfectly with the dedicated application.

Using the [Beekeeper](https://grismar.net/beekeeper/) plugin, it's actually quite simple with few commands (Player\_PlayPause/Player\_PlayNextTrack/Player\_PlayPreviousTrack) sent to [http://localhost:8080/COMMAND](http://localhost:8080/COMMAND).  
With Rhasspy and Node-red, I can now control Musicbee by voice.

Here's a flow for the play/pause command :
