# Dashboard date picker always sends TWO dates?

Of course, it is easy. Use a Trigger node configured like this:

When the first message arrives it sends nothing but starts a 100msec timer. If another message arrives within that time then that message will be passed on. If no second message arrives then the original message will be passed on, so it should cope with both browsers.

seems to work (with 200 ms delay)!  
100 ms was too close.

Thanks for the detective work - it does indeed seem like Safari treats mouse down the same as losing focus which is odd... will fix.
