# Dashboard Main Menu - Order and Sub-Menu

Hi,

i wonder if there is a way to get a fixed order to the main menu. At the monent the order changed from time to time. I guess everytime when i changed something on the layout.

And is there also a way to implement sub-menus in the main menu?

Hi @gerribaldi,  
That is not possible with the standard menu. However in my [readme](https://github.com/bartbutenaers/node-red-contrib-ui-contextmenu#node-usage) page you can see how @Paul-Reed has found a workaround via the node-red-contrib-ui-contextmenu node...
