# DB2 - ui\_table - How to hide a column

Hi ,

I am sending a payload to ui\_table node.  
How can i hide a column - such that column will not displayed - but available should user select the row. (basically a hidden column holding some data).

The only way in ui-table is to send the data again with column removed and use auto calculate columns.  
or move to [node-red-dashboard-2-table-tabulator (node) - Node-RED](https://flows.nodered.org/node/@omrid01/node-red-dashboard-2-table-tabulator)
