# Debug node store somewhere and use space on sd card?

I suspect the node you are using uses that library. It is to much of a coincidence.

This is true, its not a secret. Its basicly the same. But I dont know how could it help me, to prevent getting log files that big.

do you have the `Debugging` option in the node checked off?

If so, uncheck it and see what happens. With it checked it causes the underlining node ([GitHub - Apollon77/smartmeter-obis: This library supports the reading and parsing of smartmeter protocols that follow the OBIS number logic to make their data available.](https://github.com/Apollon77/smartmeter-obis)) to do 'Detailed' logging  
Also (in answer to your GitHub question) the `Request Interval` is seconds

I'm not sure I was using it. I know that is now unchecked.  
I will run some tests later with checked debugging box and then with unchecked.

allright, looks like debugging was checked, when I was running it. Because I tested it now. When debugging is checked, then this messages gets stored and the log file is rising quickly. With unchecked the measurment dont get stored inside deamon.log
