# DMX-512 hardware

Hi,
I wonder if anyone here has experience controlling DMX-512 fixtures from Node-RED?
I am working on a project where the control system (Eurotherm PAC) does not handle the DMX-512 protocol, so my idea is to use Node-RED as a gateway.
I would be happy to receive suggestions for USB-connected hardware that you know works, as well as which node you used for it. The platform will probably be Windows or Raspberry, depending on whether there is something that works together.

It might be more simple to use an Artnet to DMX-512 bridge, dealing with DMX USB drivers can be a pain, there are several artnet nodes available to do this.
