# Docker Hub images - haven't been updated in 9 months

Hey there - it seems like the images on Docker Hub haven't been updated in 9 months:

I suspect its just because a release of Node Red hasn't been pushed in that time, but its best practice for Docker images to still be re-released regularly so that the base layer images (Alpine in this case) updates can be incorporated to ensure bugs/security updates are incorporated.

What's the right way to raise this, or to assist in fixing it?

Please raise an issue on [GitHub - node-red/node-red-docker: Repository for all things Node-RED and Docker related](https://github.com/node-red/node-red-docker/) as a discussion on this topic (mention I asked you to do this). I agree this is something we've historically not been great at keeping up to date - partly wanting to minimise churn.
