Are others thinking this would be useful? It's a pretty trivial node and like @TotallyInformation I would regard it as another input node - in exactly the same that hue magick works (which is what I am trying to replicate).
The Change node would work but it's more fiddly to use and would require large scale changes to the entire flow if I changed the way the data was stored for example.
