# E-Mail node setup

Hi,

Can someone lease guide me to the setup of the node-red-node-email 1.15.1

The Credentials for the service provider

```auto
Email Address: alarm@xxxx.co.za

Account / User Name: alarm@xxxx.co.za

Incoming server: mail.xxxx.co.za

Outgoing (SMTP) server: smtp.xxxx.co.za

SMTP Authentication: On (same Username as incoming)

SMTP Port: 587

```

The send I get to work, but not the receiving of mails I cant get to work.

I can confirm the email-in node works, of course [gmail.com](http://gmail.com) not xxxx.co.za.  
For gmail I have to use SSL, port 993, Start TLS never and the IMAP server is **imap**.gmail.com, but I'm sure you have checked all these settings for your mail account!
