# Edit node config from Dashboard

You might also take a look at the [schedex](https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-contrib-schedex) node. It is a lot like ( "inspired by") `bigtimer` but is not as "big" and lacks some features. It can, however, be programmed by messages, and I have written a [dashboard interface](https://discourse.nodered.org/t/looking-for-a-gui-to-define-input-for-schedex/8938/16) for it.
