# Error: spawn EINVAL

Dear all,
I tried to install Node-RED on a Windows 10 machine. However, when trying to start node-red, I receive the following error and node-red does not start:
I followed the instructions on the node-red webpage. A month ago it worked directly, however, yesterday and today I get the same error on three different devices. I tried different versions of node and node-red and also the combination that worked a month ago, however it did not solve the problem...
How can I resolve this issue?

And please do try to look for similar problems in the forum before asking. This has already been raised multiple times and a node-red bug fix released.
