# Every hour on the hour

What is the best node to have an hourly inject on the hour inject.

Does that inject on the hour or every 60 minutes?

Well, easy enough to find out. 🙂

I would think that, since it starts at 00:00, they would both be the same thing.

More intellucatal to discuss the meta-physics - it'd be cheating to actually try it out 🙂

I mean how can it run at all? There's obviously no time between 00:00 and 00:00 so at the most I'd expect it to maybe run once/day 🙂

And does it run once on node deployment or wait until next time the big hand is on twelve? 🙂

RTC wont matter if you are using NTP. Most timezones are whole hours from UTC, it might be different if your TZ is 30 min offset though.

I ended up writing a function node that got the time, checked the hour for 0 AND the seconds for 0, the second part is important or you spam triggers for a full minute every hour
