# Extracting Audio from Stream

I have a Hikvision IP camera that I and trying to build into a custom intercom. I started with bartbutenaers/node-red-rtsp-to-mjpeg node and have managed to get the video stream to play in the Dashboard. But this is where I am now stuck, getting the audio into and out of the camera. The camera has both a speaker and microphone and through the HTTP interface with the plugin from Hikvision, in my browser I can get the audio to work. Now I need it to work in my Node-Red project, and reading a lot of posts by Kevin Godell but not sure if his ffmpeg will extract and/or encode G.711 audio.
