# Face recognition pallet installation error

with node-red 1.2.1 installation of face recognition getting error.

What hardware and OS are you running on?  
Open a terminal and (important) go to your .node-red folder. Then run  
`npm install node-red-contrib-face-recognition`  
and copy/paste the result here. When pasting it in use the `</>` button at the top of the forum text entry window.

Use Windows 10 with Node-red v1.21

upload the text file[npm run cmd.txt](https://discourse.nodered.org/uploads/short-url/oKP2IebFpfaIr7AJufEywOaRzN6.txt) (57.6 KB) , the characters are more than limitation.

Note that that says it installed ok (after a lot rude messages)

```auto
+ node-red-contrib-face-recognition@1.3.3
added 15 packages from 18 contributors and audited 998 packages in 47.331s

```

If you restart node red, refresh the browser and look in the palette is it still saying there is a problem?

still getting this error.

when trying to add this flow "[https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-contrib-face-recognition](https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-contrib-face-recognition)"

it show this error.

In the readme is says that tensorflow is optional.

I think you will have to raise an issue on the [node's github page](https://github.com/thebigpotatoe/node-red-contrib-face-recognition/issues). However I note there is already a possibly related issue that was raised three months ago and there seems to be no action.
