# Feature request: rename a project

Is it possible to rename a NR project? I have not found a way to do this in the flow editor, and I hesitate to mess around with directory names and configuration files. If it is not possible now, would it be feasible in a future version?

Hi, any updates on this topic?  
As far as I can see, the workaround exists of renaming manually in the projects directory:

- changing **folder name** of the project
- changing value of " **name**" field in **package.json** file

I had to update my key for the credentials flow.  
Seemed to work after that.

It would be really nice to be able to do this via the UI. I set this up for my boss as per his request on an AWS EC2 server, and he would really like to be able to rename projects via the UI.
