# File node not working on windows

Hello,  
i try to save text in a file on windows.

it is not possible to save any msg.payload into a file.  
any suggestions?

Are there any errors in the debug sidebar or the console?

Does the account running node-red have permission to write to D:?

Also, try `d:/file.txt` or `d:\\file.txt`
