# Flexdash dashboard conflict? Can I use both at the same time? Thanks in advance

Developers of Flexdash / Node-RED Dashboard. Is it possible to have these co-exist in order to leverage items in both currently running in the same environment? What conflicts do I need to look for? Should I separate Node-RED instances and communicate via MQTT back and forth?

I'd like to leverage items in both which could make my system better and easier to maintain. This begs the question of which has long term support or is that a problem, but when? Thanks in advance.

I use them both to serve different dashboards from the same node-red with no problems.

For reference: [IFrames - FlexDash](https://flexdash.github.io/docs/using-flexdash/iframes/) describes how to embed tabs of the std dashboard into FlexDash.
