# Flow Debugger - msg history

Been playing with NodeRED v.2.0.3 with v.1.1.1 of the Flow debugger installed.  
Great work! This will be very useful!

Feature request:  
ability to 'pin' a msg (or do it to all msg's that hit a breakpoint?) so that you can track the history of that msg and how it gets transformed by your nodes.

Each msg can be seen as it is now but you could expand it to see its state upstream at different nodes. Then when you select/hover over that state is highlights where in the flow that message lived.

This can be done now with regular debug nodes so, not sure how useful this request would be.
