# FordConnect APIs and data collection

With a lot of help from Gemini, I have managed to set up my Ford Developer Account and have received access to their APIs (not very well documented). Now I am trying to figure out what I want to do with it!
Is anyone using NR to access Ford APIs? If so, what data are you accessing/using? I have an EV and I don't want to "control" it but would like to gather some metrics. Because of the lack of documentation, I can't really figure out what data I can get.
If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it. BTW, there is also a contrib node [FordConnect Node-RED](https://flows.nodered.org/node/@tally/fordconnect-node-red/scorecard) but I found it after I had figured out how to authenticate and get access tokens using the native http request node.
So I guess I have a solution and am looking for a problem to solve😉
