# Get data from particle photon device cloud using the already existing nodes

Hi! I am using the node-red-contrib-particle which makes available three nodes that allow the communication between the node-red and the particle device cloud. However, I have tried everyting to make this nodes run correctly, but I am always getting the same error in the node.I always get Error-refer to log in the particle node. Is there anyone that have already use these nodes and could possibly help me?

I've not use the node, but have you looked at the log?

If you are running on a pi and have used the script from here [https://nodered.org/docs/hardware/raspberrypi](https://nodered.org/docs/hardware/raspberrypi)  
to update your pi (which you really should do if you haven't)

Try typing node-red-log in a window

Thank you, after some time trying different approaches, I found that I was putting extra things in the requested cloud url. So the problem is already solved
