# Getting started instructions for Android/Termux

The getting started instructions for installing Node-RED on Android (within TERMUX) specify the command "apt install coreutils nano nodejs". apt will work for the first two packages but not nodejs. To install nodejs, enter the command "pkg install nodejs".

It’s been a long time since we looked at termux. If that is now correct then yes we need to update the docs
