# Hello nodered v3.1.3 what use dashboard?

To answer that we would need to know a lot more about what you want to do.
The main options at the moment are
1. node-red-dashboard, which is stable, simple, very easy to use but limited in what it can do.
2. node-red-contrib-uibuilder which is much more flexible, but requires more advanced knowledge to use it.
3. @flowfuse/node-red-dashboard, otherwise known as Dashboard 2.0, which will eventually become the replacement for node-red-dashboard, but is still under active development so is not yet stable or complete.
Go and look at those, and have a play with option 1 and see if it will do what you want.
