# Help Failed to install: node-red-contrib-bluetooth-serial-port

Hi guys I'm trying to install this node on my computer but I got this msg I don't know why?

what does the log say?

did you follow the pre-requisites as described in the [readme](https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-contrib-bluetooth-serial-port)?

> Dependencies
> 
> Make sure those packages are installed where Node-RED is running.
> 
> - libbluetooth-dev
> - bluez

no idea, but judging by those pre-reqs, it looks like linux only (just a guess).

you could raise an issue on the github "issues" pages & ask the author.
