# Help with email Node

Hi, I am trying to use the email nodes, but I'm having trouble using the USERID and password settings required. Does this use the Node-Red application username and the google's password? I'm getting the following error, the link doesn't help. I've turned on the access in google so that Node-Red should be able to connect. I've tried the username shown with the google password.

you probably need to use a google application password ?

tried it, still receiving same error:  
app password

Userid should be the full email address

Yes, this along with the application password works. Thanks
