# How do you change the size of each individual node

after 6 month's, I'm still learning node-red. I'm stuck on resizing various nodes. I imported a sample PID flow to compare it to what I've been working on. However, 90% of the nodes have been reduced to small squares similar to the attached.

How do I get all the nodes back to their original size in the palette; without having to to drag each node in then transfer the code to the new node?

Hi Keefer,

This is controlled by a setting on each node:

I don't think there is any easy way to avoid changing them one by one.

Luckily there are multiple ways.

- Select the nodes, right-click (or cmd+shift+p like vscode) \> show action list \> search "label" \> show/hide label
- Or via shortcuts, which can be setup via the hamburger menu \> manage palette \> keyboard tab
