# How node red is better than cooja

I am working on IoT data formats. i am in confusion to choose a tool for data format representation and process. can somebody help with this . should i go with node-red or cooja.

I don't see how they are in any way similar, can you explain in more detail what you want the tool to do?

Cooja appears to be a network simulator for Contiki.

As such, there wouldn't appear to be any similarity. Therefore any question of which might be better is meaningless.

In which case... if you are working with real devices I would say use Node-RED.  
If playing with imaginary ones in an imaginary network then maybe Cooja.
