# How to add information ( username, birthday, date...) to mongodb from function of node-red. Pls help me

Hello Anh,

What Mongodb node have you tried ?

I used the [node-red-node-mongodb (node) - Node-RED](https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-node-mongodb) set of nodes with success.  
(which is the most recently updated)

You just send a `msg.payload` with the collection Document to a `mongodb out` node set to

and thats it 😉

The nodes Help file explains everything in detail.
