# How to block a function in other Tabs

Hi All.

I currently have 3 Tab nodes on my Dashboard. I'm using some inputs from my RPI to trigger a ui control.

BUT

It should only work in 1 of the 3 Tab Nodes. Is there a "Tab Node" property/id which I can use in my function to only allow it to send a value to the ui control when in the current Tab Node?

You have confused me...how about a better explaination, maybe share your flow, add a picture of what the dashboard looks like and what you want to happen.
