# How to connect Mitsubishi PLC FX5U-32M to Node red using node's available in Node red and Without using OPC server / Kepware

i have programmed Mitsubishi plc FX5U-32M using GX Works and i want to send PLC data to Schneider Magelis IOT gateway so please help me (How to connect Mitsubishi PLC FX5U-32M to Node red using node's available in Node red and Without using OPC server / Kepware)

Hi [sandeepanj](https://discourse.nodered.org/u/sandeepanj) , I have just view a manual of Mitsubishi. I think that support a modbus tcp protocol.

Hi @Lupin_III, @sandeepanj if you are interested in testing, I have just published this node to github - [node-red-contrib-mcprotocol](https://github.com/Steve-Mcl/node-red-contrib-mcprotocol)

If you are willing to test it out I can assist you.

Essentially, you can install it like so...

```auto
cd ~/.node-red
npm install Steve-Mcl/node-red-contrib-mcprotocol

```

After install, re-start node-red. You should have 2 mcprotocol nodes `read` + `write`

The built in help in the side-bar info panel should get you going.

Hi Steve, it would have been perfect but at the moment the PLC is connected via RS232 ... damn!
