# How to debug "flow stopped due to missing node types"

Hello all, I just started tinkering with nodered with Home Assistant and I stumbled into this issue:

```auto
Flows stopped due to missing node types.

* position-config

Close

```

I did install a scheduler briefly but I decided it was too much too soon so I got rid of it and now I can't seem to deploy any flows. How do I debug my install and get it back to "zero"? re-installing the extension in HA doesn't seem to do the trick as it seems there's some long lived configs that are creating an issue.

Go to sidebar, click configuration nodes at top ([cog](https://www.google.com/search?q=cog)), click unused, Highlight any unused (one at a time) and hit delete on keyboard. When all unused have been deleted re-deploy. All should be fine then.
